JEAN-MARC JOUBERT RELAUNCHES HIS RUE DU LOUVRE SALON
The salon at 9 rue du Louvre in the heart of Paris’s first arrondissement, which opened in 2005, has had its own restyle. Whilst contrasting colours and materials showcase the architectural lines, and glass partitions maximize transparency, the unashamedly designer interior remains client-friendly. The layout has been made clearer by the contrast of striking black and white checkered flooring and blond wood parquet. All our expert hairdressers are back to fulfil their clients’ every wish, from a regular refresh to a radical restyle. The undecided can even try out potential new looks risk-free in the 3D colour consultation area!
Jean-Marc Joubert thanks the partners that have collaborated on designing and building his new salon:
Möbler mobilier & agencement, Inovshop Group, L’Oréal Produits Professionnels, GAMMA & BROSS, AVEC Réalisation.
Since 1985, the year when his first hairdressing salon opened in Poitiers, Jean-Marc Joubert has captured the very essence of French chic, that indefinable je ne sais quoi, a subtle mix of sophistication and insouciance. For Jean-Marc Joubert, style is all about attitude.
In 1996, he became a L’Oréal Professionnel ambassador. The biggest beauty brands call on his skills to transform their models in New York, Tokyo and London, but it’s in his own salons that Jean-Marc really gives free rein to his creativity, reinventing the concept of hairchitecture and earning the title of “best hairdresser in Paris”.
Recognizing the importance of education and apprenticeships, Jean-Marc has personally trained most of the hairdressers who work in his thirty salons across France, ensuring that his expertise is shared as widely as possible. In 2014, he expanded further and founded the Gilles Boldron brand, specializing in afro and ethnic hairdressing in Paris.
